After reading our guidelines, if you would still like to submit a guest post, please pitch your idea to Julie, our Community Manager.

Below you will find all the details intended to guide you through this process with the goal of making this easier for all of us.
We’re happy to accept anything that is useful to our readers. Here at Doostang, we focus on providing the best career advice that will both educate and entertain our audience of job seekers, career professionals, and career changers. If you think your idea is a good fit, then we’d love to hear about it!
Yes, please pitch to us first. We do not want you taking the trouble to write something up before we’ve approved your idea. If this is your first time pitching to us, please include one or two links to writing samples so we feel confident you’ll be able to execute your idea.
Please keep posts around 600 words. We will be forced to shorten it if goes on too long.
Depends on how well you write it. We will make the necessary edits to ensure clarity and length limitations.
They get their post emailed out to our newsletter list of 180,000 members. Unfortunately we are not in a position to pay contributors but we can offer a byline and a short bio (with a link) at the bottom of the post. We work hard to share these posts across the Web, which helps get visibility for both you and us.
A sentence or two about you, plus one link that can direct readers to your website, Twitter handle, or LinkedIn profile. Please send us your bio with your post and keep it between 1-3 sentences.
Please submit it as a Word document (.doc please, NOT .docx).
If you have any further questions about the guest posting process, feel free to email our Community Manager, Julie. You can find her contact information at the top of the page.
